I was contacted over a year ago regarding someone researching Termini Imerese roots for the Australian version of the show. The person who was featured was Paul Mercurio. The TI website was to be credited in the show for helping them obtain the information that was needed for Paul. I was told that I would get a copy of the show after it was aired (last December 21) but so far I have not received the copy yet. I sent an email to the person whom I dealt with to see what had happened but haven't had a response yet. On 2/6/2011 7:45 AM, Tony Massaro wrote: > I didnt see last year. Our present area is Enna, the book is focusing on this area and Catania, of course many more in that area. (Termini was mentioned once so far). It is confusing and I do not dwell on immediate relationships, they mention Pope's, Bishops, Princes. I will read it and translate it. It seems like the ones in Sicily take this very serious. Some here have mentioned it thru the years. That is them, I do not! In our database you can track it. They would have to hire someone to track it back. I do have some family in Catania (1st cousin). I'll translate it on that site someone provided. I am printing it as I go along. But I'm not taking all this literally. Too far back in time. The section of Enna my Father came from, he used to tell us "he could see it in Villarosa". ???????? Carmel. They have on site computer kiosks that let you look up grave locations for all of the Catholic Cemeteries in the area. The last time I was there (about a year ago), this information was not available on the internet, so you physically had to go there and use the computers there.
