We have learned that both our Geraci and our Marcellino family lines may have originated from the Normans as they show that the paternal ancestors for each line have haplotypes that are more common in far Northern Europe. We also showed a good percentage of Southern European and Middle Eastern genes which is common for Sicilians. The tests can reveal your father´s father´s father´s father´s father´ (etc.) lineage and also your mother´s, mother´s mother´s mother´s (etc) lineage among other things.

I have a girl friend in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico (which is where I am typing this email from) and it is actually a very nice (and safe) town of 100,000+. It´s about 2 hours from San Antonio. They actually have about four Italian restaurants but none of them are too spectacular but on the other hand, they are not terrible. This town actually has quite a few Chinese restaurants as well. Who knew?!

We usually have to be in Decatur at 6:00 am so that is why I am in Staunton at 4:00 am.

If you want to be really adventurous and make international calls, my girlfriend´s number in Mexico is 011-52-878-795-2949. It will probably cost about 15 cents a minute but that is how I can be reached on the weekends and most of her family speaks a bit of English.
